Unite Interactive recently participated in the Manitoba First Nations SchoolNet (MFNS) Youth Conference held in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Led by the incredible Nikki Muswaggon and her dynamic team, MFNS is a powerhouse organization providing Internet connectivity, technical support, consulting services, and training to 48 Indigenous communities administering federally funded education programs. Their work is truly inspiring, and the conference reflected that energy and dedication.

This extraordinary event brought together a diverse group of ICT professionals to share their knowledge and experiences with over 40 First Nation communities' youth from Manitoba. It was a vibrant exchange of ideas, inspiration, and pathways to success.

Unite Interactive and their IT partner, HUB Technology Solutions enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the students and put together a host of activities for the Indigenous youth to experience the variety of educational and career available.

Special thanks to the organizations that were kind enough to host the students:

They were able to experience a wide range of immersive technologies from virtual reality, to game making to educational paths they might be able to consider to advance their educational and future careers.

Unite Interactive and HUB Technology Solutions added a dash of fun, hosting 80 Indigenous youth and the MFNS team at a Winnipeg Jets hockey game-a memorable way to wrap up an inspiring conference!

It was a joy to be part of such an impactful event, and we're already looking forward to future opportunities to support and inspire the next generation of Indigenous innovators.
